KITTYPOTS

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data KITTY (a product of Kittypots) collects when you join our waitlist, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We keep it deliberately short and plain.

Who we are. KITTY is being built by Kittypots, a partnership between Noah Price and Maisie Price, based in the United Kingdom. For any privacy question, or to exercise any right below, email hello@kittypots.com. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect right now

During this pre-launch waitlist phase, if you choose to join the waitlist we collect only:

Your email addressSo we can tell you when KITTY launches and confirm your founding-member place.
A signup source tagWhether you arrived via the site or a referral link, so we can credit referrals.
Your browser user-agentBasic technical info sent automatically by your browser, kept for security and abuse-prevention only.

That is all. We do not collect your name, your financial data, or any bank information at this stage — the product itself is not yet live. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site. The app preview stores its demo data only in your own browser (localStorage); it never reaches our servers.

Why we can use it (legal basis)

We process your email on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the waitlist form. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see “Your rights” below), and every email we send you will include an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data, and we never will. Your waitlist entry is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), our data processor, on servers in the European Union. When we begin sending launch emails we may use a reputable email provider to deliver them; we will name it here before we do. That is the full list — no advertisers, no data brokers.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist email until KITTY launches and you have had the chance to create (or decline) an account, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If you never take up your place, we will delete waitlist data that is no longer needed.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored within the European Union (Firebase eur3 multi-region). If that ever changes, we will update this page and ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@kittypots.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

As we move from waitlist to a live product handling financial information, this policy will be expanded and the “last updated” date changed. Material changes will be notified to waitlist members by email.
